Lakama was established in 1995, purely as a service to construction companies, contractors and other industries faced with the challenge of providing suitable accommodation for their workforce whilst fulfilling contracts. Lakama Accommodation presented – and still presents – the perfect solution.
Offering our clients, who are all major players within the industry, an excellent service is of paramount importance to us. Of equal importance, though, is ensuring that the individuals we house and cater for are satisfied. After all, the success of our company rests on their approval. Which is why our residents are assured of an environment as comfortable as – and sometimes, more comfortable than – home.
The company is divided into the following departments, each with their focussed, experienced operational players. Accommodation Utilising our expertise regarding accommodation, catering and logistics allows companies to concentrate on their core competencies and efficiencies. We believe that a happy and comfortable employee is a productive employee, and we undertake to always meet and exceed the expectations of our guests. |

Initially, the company's primary business function was accommodation. Since then we’ve expanded to add Catering and Logistics in order to offer a holistic and specialised service to our clients. 
The success of our operation is also due to our years of experience. The method of dealing with everyday issues successfully is something mastered over time, and this is an industry that demands the kind of operational expertise only experience can bring. Lakama is proud to be among the few players in the industry with this knowledge.
